MINE - DataCentre

The MINE DataCentre provides a complete Transactional Data Warehouse. It offers highly optimised table structures defining the relationships between the various data elements in the system. SQL databases in general provide a tried, tested and scalable solution to the issues of data storage.

After analysis, the MINE DataCentre is configured and delivered to your exact specification. Changes, reports and enhancements to the DataCentre can then be performed by your own staff. Currently MINE supports MS SQL Server and Sybase. Support for additional database technologies can be rapidly provided on application.

Structure the Storage

MINE comes with detailed diagrams clearly illustrating how table relationships are structured enabling any your development team to navigate the relationship structures with ease.

Data Interface

All data enters the MINE DataCentre via secure stored procedures. This provides a high performance consistent point of entry independent of any front-end system.

Data leaves MINE via read-only Views. No direct access to the data tables is ever permitted except by system administrators. You are free to create views in MINE to meet any requirements you deem necessary.

Auditing

MINE offers user defineable levels of Audit on tables. You can choose from the following levels of Audit:
	0. No audit
	1. Who and when was it created, who and when last changed it
	2. As above, but which fields changed
	3. Store entire copy of record in separate Audit tables

Full historical Audit logs are automatically created and carried until such time as you decide to purge them.
